Jo Davis is a visual artist and creative consultant whose work centers on connection, community, and meaningful creative experiences. Through public art, cultural planning, and community-centered projects, she helps people, organizations, and places build stronger relationships through creativity. Her work is rooted in collaboration, thoughtful engagement, and the belief that art can shape how people connect to each other and to the spaces they share.

Alongside this work, Jo maintains an active studio practice where painting remains the throughline of her creative life. Her intuitive approach to art-making prioritizes process over product, embracing experimentation, play, and discovery as essential parts of both artistic practice and personal growth. Across both consulting and fine art, her work is guided by the belief that creativity is a powerful tool for reflection, healing, and transformation.

Her public art and community-centered work has received national recognition, including support from the National Endowment for the Arts and Bloomberg Philanthropies, as well as recognition from Americans for the Arts Public Art Network. Her work has also been featured on the cover of McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Issue 16, and exhibited in galleries in New York City, San Francisco, and Panama City.
