In The Studio Today

After months of mostly watercolor, I’m starting to want to draw again. And after a really long time, I’m using oil again. It’s like getting reacquainted with an old friend and I’m really loving this old pal. It’s so much more forgiving than watercolor and ink. Feels good to get back into it.

There is this leafy shape in the top right that reminds me of a stencil I made from a leaf drawing when I lived in Panama.
