Nasa conducted a famous study to test for creative genius and the results were incredible: 98% of 5-year-old children fell into the “genius category of imagination”, this number dropped to 12% for 15-year-olds and to 2% for adults.” Every preschool child knows exactly how to make art, but once we enter formal education systems, we soon learn to doubt that part of us.
By making time and space for art in our lives, we can begin to make positive changes in our own lives and in the world. Jo will talk through ways that we can use art making for self discovery so that we can live more meaningful lives.
