REGISTER BELOW
Are you looking for a way to integrate creative expression into your life and connect more deeply with yourself? Join friendly folks on Friday mornings as we work through The Artist’s Way together and get our creative vibes flowing.
Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way, is a seminal book in the realm of creativity and personal growth. Structured like a 12-step program, it guides readers through a 12-week exploration. Each week focuses on a particular theme with guided exercises and builds on the last. These guided steps make the process feel manageable and give you time to process it all.
Through The Artist’s Way, we will work out creative blocks to live life more fully.
As a group, we meet weekly to discuss what we have read, questions we have worked through, and activities we have participated in on our own. Everyone has a chance to speak, so there is time for sharing, feedback, and reflection. Curious about what this looks like? You can learn about it here.

Artist Talk
Knowing that we are all one, and that peace comes from that recognition within us and between us, I began thinking about borders that we impose and how they separate us. Specifically geographic, political, and religious borders. My time in Spain left me thinking about the internal borders that we carry within us.
Join me on December 19th as I share insights and work from my artist residency with Ey!Studio Madrid this past June.
The event is free and open to the public.
Thursday, December 19th at 7:00 pm

Tranquil Translucence With Watercolor: Layering and Blending: A Workshop at The Demuth Museum
In this class led by local artist Jo Davis, we'll explore the calming effects of watercolor by mastering layering and blending techniques. Participants will learn to create luminous, translucent washes by applying multiple layers of color, allowing each to dry before adding the next. Inspired by Demuth’s delicate approach, we'll focus on a relaxed and meditative process, embracing the fluidity and transparency of watercolor.

Creativity as a Tool for Self Care
Join me for a virtual Lunch and Learn where we will explore creativity as a tool for self-care and mindfulness. Through a guided art activity using simple materials like pencils or watercolors, participants will reconnect with their innate creativity, focusing on the process rather than the final product. This session offers a space for reflection, stress relief, and connection, supporting caregivers’ well-being as they continue their important work in the community.
We invite you to bring any art-making tools you have on hand for the virtual session.
This free event is part of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s Trauma Informed Lancaster County.
